Après de longues journées à traverser les déserts de Grinora porté par son fidèle tigre protecteur, il parvient finalement à trouver le premier dispensaire connecté aux pouvoir du temple sacré, il est blessé au pied rien de grave car c'est son âme qu'il est venu soigné, atteins par le sort d'un mage maléfique puissant qu'il a dû affronter alors qu'il était à la recherche du cristal Atla, clef de la libération pour son peuple, un objet magique qui leur permettrait de vivre en paix.
